Job Summary:
In this role, the Process Automation Specialist will be working with the Director of Process Solutions to create digital workflows in FlowForma (a no-code Sharepoint-based product), Microsoft Power Platform, and other tools. This person will be responsible for understanding client business requirements and build processes that meet business requirements, improve a client’s organizational efficiencies and are easy to use. Working as part of a fast-paced and client focused team, the Business Process Automation Specialist will also be assisting other team members depending on organizational priorities.
Responsibilities:
· Develop digital workflows using FlowForma and Microsoft’s suite of tools
· Work closely with the Director of Process Solutions to develop Proof of Concepts and process solutions in a variety of business areas: Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, HR, Quality, Health & Safety or other
· Communicate the return on investment and value of having better processes and consistent data quality to clients
· Support in assessing current processes and recommending process improvements where applicable
· Work with Business Intelligence Analysts and other team members to ensure solutions meet client business requirements, including ETL, reporting, data analytics and user interface design
· Ability to demonstrate the functionality of some common digital business processes developed by Pontem in client demonstration environment
· Research activities around workflow automation and new technologies for clients
· Contribute to Pontem’s development by thinking of industry growth areas, and providing input on strategic decisions
Technical Skills and Proficiencies:
· Working towards Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study (business / engineering / computer science)
· Experience in helping develop and improve business processes
· Experience in digital workflow solutions, SQL and Azure Logic Apps would be an asset
· Microsoft Power Platform experience strongly preferred
· Capable of obtaining business requirements from various client stakeholders
· Ability to improve operations and influence change in a collaborative way, both internally and externally
